We build and run our own apps under one design rule: never make the user dependent. No anxiety-driven notifications, no infinite scroll — products you can use quietly.
The design rules
- It ends — A session finishes on its own. Nothing runs forever
- It does not rush you — No anxiety notifications, no streaks held hostage, no fake urgency
- It does not add stimulation — No colour or autoplay stealing your attention
- It works in your hand — The core features run offline
Kotsu Kotsu
A meditation app where you just stack stones. Every time you sit, one hand-drawn stone joins your cairn. The stack is the shape of the time you spent quietly. No tutorial, no achievements. You sit, you stack. That is all.
Bookroid
An Android launcher that reassembles your phone as a single book. Installed apps become chapters opened from a table of contents, and there is a limit on how many pages you can read in a day. We built it as an answer to infinite-scroll social media.
- A home screen that opens chapters from a contents page (apps sorted into chapters automatically)
- Page-turning gestures and a printed-book look
- A daily page limit you set
- Stimulation turned down — greyscale, no autoplay
PETOPETO (in development)
A pet that lives inside your phone. Currently in development.
Kopi Chat
A message board where Japanese students in Malaysia trade information about local life and their universities, and get to know each other. It exists because those students had no reliable source for any of it. Over 300 registered members as of July 2026.
