The Silk Road traders refused to be beaten by brutal conditions and stitched the world's cultures together on their own feet. Out of deep respect for them, we named ourselves Caravan Village. What follows is the story of what we are travelling for.
Declaration of Earth Citizenship
Under this flag we declare ourselves citizens of Earth. We will work with love alongside the people of this planet, its living creatures, its plants, its things, and the countless gods that dwell in them.

Where We Started
Our journey began in the ocean of the internet. We come from different hometowns and met in different ways, but a group of people this strong-willed did not find each other by chance. We were pulled together by one conviction.
That conviction started as a small unease. One of our founders sat in a selective school he had tested into, on rails laid by other people, chased forever toward the "riches" of admission to a famous university. Even if you reach those riches, is there anything at the end but another signpost pointing at some other riches? The adults' words turned out to be empty ones, there to manage us.
The unease took root in Japan and grew as he travelled through other countries. In high school, reading a novel, the moment arrived that turned unease into certainty.
This country has everything.
The only thing it lacks is hope.
Those words moved our lives. The absence of hope is not Japan's problem alone; it is the disease of a modern world that chases material wealth.
Real wealth lives inside a person. A mind that stands on its own, something to be absorbed in, relationships built in harmony with others, and enough will to sustain all of it — we are convinced that moving from a society that takes to a society that gives is what creates real wealth.
We hold onto that instinct like treasure. It is where we started, and it points at where this journey ends.

Our Mission
An education system that dangles empty "riches" and rushes you forever is a scale model of a society stalled under addiction, dependence and control. This problem cannot be solved except by changing how society itself works.

You cannot change that structure by staying in Japan and looking only at Japan. Go out into the world, connect with people there, and bring what you find back through Japan. That circulation is our mission.
